Each year, over 140,000 students participate in Inside the Outdoors programs where they explore lessons from nature ranging from watershed education to health education. The work we do is made possible because of the tremendous community support we receive.

This program recognizes outstanding nonprofits organizations for their excellence in community service in Southern California.

2011 Costa Mesa Planning Commission Mesa Green Design Award

This award of public recognition is for exceptional development projects and programs that exhibit excellence in green planning and design.

2010 Sempra Energy Foundation Environmental Champions Award

This initiative supports Southern California non-profits focused on natural resource protection and conservation, environmental education, and environmental health and safety.
