Astronomy Night (7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)
Spend an evening under the stars in the canyons away from city lights. We will take an evening hike, peer at the night sky through telescopes and hear ancient legends about how the constellations were named.
Cost: $5 per person/ $25 per family* Advance registration required.

Join us for a morning program especially designed for toddlers and their families! Enjoy your child’s sense of wonder as you experience nature together.

Nature at Night – Whooo’s Here at Night (7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
Rancho Soñado
Silverado, CA
Enjoy an evening hike and learn about the local animals that wake up when others go to sleep. Participate in activities about owls and other nocturnal animals.
Cost: $5 per person/ $25 per family* Advance registration required.
Saturday, May 18
Hike-4-Kids at Irvine Regional Park (9:00 a.m.)
Orange, CA
Join Inside the Outdoors Foundation for a fun filled morning of hiking to raise money and give kids an outdoor experience they will never forget! With your support, we can give thousands of Southern California students the experience of science in nature. Choose from a 5K trail hike or a 1.5 mile tyke hike suitable for all ages. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park.

location with various games and activities depending on the park. Join us for all or part of this event.

*Inside the Outdoors Foundation members receive free event entry with individual ($25) or family ($50) membership levels and includes up to five guests. Non-members pay $5 per person or $25 per family per program. If you would like to become a member, visit our website or sign up at the event.
