Inside the Outdoors® Outdoor Science School, in operation since 1974, offers four and five day programs for fifth and sixth grade students at various sites in the San Bernardino Mountains. The sites are adjacent to the San Bernardino National Forest and provide a unique opportunity to study the natural environment. The weeklong experience also provides an ideal atmosphere for the development of social skills and self-esteem. Both students and teachers leave Outdoor Science School knowing more about the natural world and themselves.
